Nangkita Vineyards consistently produces premium quality grapes and has achieved over 40 medals and trophies in recent years establishing a reputation as the most awarded vineyard in the Southern Fleurieu.
This exceptional vineyard is located on Nangkita Road in Nangkita within the Southern Fleurieu GI, only 30 KM's by road to McLaren Vale town centre and very close to the corner of the McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills GI areas. 80% of the vineyard is planted to premium red varieties of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. The whites are planted to Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay with some small quantities of select alternative varietals.
The premium red varieties are contracted to Treasury Wine Estates with the bulk of grapes supplying the iconic Penfolds Winery. The balance comprising the whites and alternative varieties are sold on annual supply agreements.
This outstanding vineyard is supported by a large bore pumping an abundant supply of water to a centrally located 3 Megalitre storage dam which then distributes water via an as-new modernised filtration and irrigation system.
