- The metal pins and hooks exposed in the mud bricks throughout the house are from the original Blacksmiths shop in the Museum Park in Esperance
- All Cedar including windows was purposely used to age and add to the rustic appearance of the house
- The home was designed by award winning local architect Gary Ramm and was built by award winning local builder Robbie Donaldson.
