Worked on farms and Abattoirs until 1981 and joined Wesfarmers in Geraldton as a junior stockie under the guidance of Arthur Jones, Kevin Stone and branch Manager Noel Thornton.
Moved to Northam in January 1982 serving the Meckering and Goomalling Areas and married Teressa in October of that year.
Stayed for 2 enjoyable years and moved to Gnowangerup in 1984 serving the Ongerup area.
Became Senior Rep in 1987 and became a commission agent in 1989 working out of the old Co-op building. Raised 2 children, Brenton and Kayelene.
Achieved a Real Estate Rep ticket in 1990 and completed my Triennial course in 1999.
Have seen some amalgamations in the business with Wesfarmers absorbing Iama in 2001 and Wesfarmers selling Landmark to AWB and later AWB to Agrium.
