One of Tasmania’s most well-known rural agents, Michael first obtained his auctioneers license in 1984. This began three decades of success and achievements within the rural sector both in Victoria and Tasmania. In 1995 Michael began to specialise in historic homesteads and rural properties, including dairy, grazing, cropping, forestry, horticulture and wool enterprises.
He has sold many multi-million dollar properties throughout Tasmania with the record of the highest price achieved at auction holding strong at $9.3 million. As the state manager of a one of Australia's major rural brands from 1995 until 2009, Michael also held a position during that time as a Director of Patrick Hawkins Melbourne, Victoria’s leading Rural/Lifestyle property agency from 2005 – 2009.
